Queen Afua will guide you through a day of fasting and will teach you the importance of cleansing the body temple. Throughout your day, you will be served tonics, water and will be given a wealth of support, information, and positive vibrations! The day will come to a close with a collective breaking of the fast and a renewed aspiration as you embark upon your new journey to wellness! There will be meals for purchase for a minimal price following this event.

Nutrition Kitchen Food-Prep Workshop

The third and final day will round out the experience with a lesson in how to prepare and eat foods for maximum nutrition. Raw food as the basis of your diet as well as Queen Afua’s charts will be the focus of discussion. Queen Afua and Ali Torain will prepare three liquids and three solids for each individual to taste. You will leave this workshop with a stronger foundation for eating to live!

- The youngest person to be diagnosed with breast cancer was 12 years old
- Men get breast cancer (bring your husband/partner)
- African American women are more at risk to die from breast cancer due to late detection, (the cancer is more aggressive at that point )and lack of education about the disease
- The incidence of breast cancer among women under the age of 45 is higher for African American women
